The seminary’s cofounders, Dr. Daryl Eldridge, Dr. Sam Simmons, and Dr. Gary Waller, have a rich background in seminary leadership and teaching experience.

Dr. Eldridge led the education faculty as Dean of the School of Educational Ministries at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Simmons was Director of two seminary branch campuses – the Northeast Campus (Capital District, NY) of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and the Southern California Campus (Orange County, California) of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Waller was Dean of Distance Learning at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, providing leadership to the development of their online program and directing six off-campus sites with locations in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. All three men have led in accreditation and curriculum reviews at their respective institutions.

Brian Schmitt, Director of Operations, graduated from Evangel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. His background as a small business owner with experience in website development, technologies and data management, and software merchandising gives him the knowledge and experience necessary to provide operational oversight to a new but growing seminary.

J. James Mancuso is currently the Theological Librarian of Rockbridge Seminary.  He obtained an MLS and a BA in linguistics, both from Syracuse University.  Jim has worked in the library field in a variety of positions since 1977, and has served in many leadership positions in the New York Library Association, the Hudson-Mohawk Library Association, and Libraries Interested in Theology Across New York. His work has appeared in The Serials Librarian, Collection Management, and Publishing Research Quarterly.  He is married, the father of three children, and resides in Schenectady, New York.
