Meet Rockbridge Seminary Student Brian Lewis

Name: Brian Lewis
Hometown: Anadarko, Oklahoma
Academic Program: Master of Divinity
My family: Married for 10 years – one daughter who is 5 years old
My church: First Baptist Church-Anadarko
My ministry: After being involved in youth ministry for 3 years, I am now serving in a lay ministry position reaching young adults. I also play guitar in our church’s worship band on Sunday mornings. I basically serve where needed.
One word that describes me: energetic
In my spare time: My wife and I love to go to high school basketball games.
Favorite Bible verse: John 4:34, “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.”
Spiritual hero: Jesus
Vision: To reach young adults
Why I applied to Rockbridge Seminary: To further my education for ministry. I figured God has called me into the ministry so the least I can do is prepare myself.
What I like most about Rockbridge Seminary: The convenience of not having to leave my family or uproot them to go to Seminary.
